Are you ready? We are inviting you to a nature-filled adventure that will unite you with dusty roads and cool waters! You will raft in the fresh and cool waters of Köprülü Canyon in the morning. While boarding the boats, you will be accompanied by your guide; thus, a safe and fun trip awaits you.

Now and then the water goes wild, now and then it calms down, but every moment is exhilarating. This 13-kilometre rafting trip has two parts: You get the river all to yourself for 7 kilometres in the first part and 6 kilometres in the second part.

The adventures do not end here with rafting, ATV safari begins next! If you are more than 16 years old, you get to drive this four-wheeled monster. You don your helmet, press the accelerator and start sliding down into the pine forest. Muddy corners, dusty roads and puddles are waiting for you enroute. Hold your seat tight for the spouting mud from the tyres and the wind in your face! This safari will give you unforgettable memories in touch with nature.

The tour is suitable for visitors above the age of 13 years. The tour is not tiring but you will definitely have a packed day of activity. If you do not know how to swim, do not worry; rafting is done with compulsory life jackets and there is a professional guide following each boat. All gear you need is of good quality and is rehearsed in use at the beginning of the tour.

Tour Program

Hotel Pick-up

At 08:00 – 09:00 we pick you up from your hotel. Your journey starts with our comfortable and air-conditioned cars. On your journey, you are able to view the landscape of the Taurus Mountains and watch nature and local community as you pass through the villages. We introduce you to short information in the car and inform you about what you can expect on the day.

Arrival to Rafting Site and Preparation

We gather at 10:00 where we will carry out rafting and safari. Your guides welcome you. We equip you with all the rafting equipment: life vest, helmet and paddle. We practically show you how to use the equipment. Your safety is our top priority.

First Part of Rafting

Rafting begins at 10:30 in the natural waters of Köprülü Canyon. The initial 7-kilometer part comes to an end at 11:30. A guide is present in each boat and he directs you. The thrill of the current and the nature around makes this portion memorable.

Quad Motorbike Safari

We have an ATV motorcycle safari tour at 11:30. The tour takes 1 hour and ends at 12:30. You drive on forest roads full of pine trees, muddy dirty roads, puddles. We first give you a helmet and give you simple instructions. Drivers above the age of 16 years can drive these motorcycles without the need for any driver’s license.

Lunch

We have lunch in our forest restaurant at 12:30. We invite you to a delicious meal of chicken, pasta, rice and salad. In the meantime, you relax and refill batteries for the second half of the day. We complete our lunch break at 13:30.

Second Part of Rafting

At 13:30 we start the second part of the rafting course. The second part is 6 kilometres long and a bit more dynamic. The pace gets quicker as you are better synchronized as a team. We organize water fights and short swimming breaks. The part ends at 14:30.

Rest Time

Rafting ends at 14:30. We provide you with the chance to get changed and have a shower. You can sit in the cafeteria, drink tea or coffee. You can look at your photos and videos of the day and buy them if you want. We complete this part of our tour at 15:30.

Back to Hotel

Our return starts at 15.30. Between 17.30-18.30 we take you back to your hotel with our vehicles. After a long adventure, it’s time to rest!

FAQ

How is the ATV safari trail and how far is the ride?

ATV safari is done on a special route in the pine woods and dirt tracks surrounding Manavgat. You will ride through dust, mud, water and natural obstacles on the way. This enhances the ride to be more fun and adventurous. You will drive an ATV for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. The route is done safely with a guide and you can stop frequently and take in the scenery.

Is it possible to have someone ride with me on an ATV?

Yes, you may use two-seat ATVs. If the person next to you does not want to ride on an ATV, they can ride as a passenger sitting in the rear seat. This is especially useful for couples and families with children.

Is rafting something you have to learn how to swim for?

No, you do not have to be able to swim. There is a life jacket for each participant and a trained guide in the boat. Due to the low level of the current, your safety will always be guaranteed. Non-swimmers can even experience rafting without any worry.

Is a food service available on this tour?

Lunch is usually served in a local restaurant during the middle of the tour or after rafting. Lunch is typically light and hearty grills, pasta and salads. Details may vary according to the tour programme.

Are there any health-related things I should be aware of prior to joining the tour?

If you have medical conditions such as heart disease, severe back or neck problems, it is recommended that you consult your doctor before joining. Other than that, anyone who is in good overall health can safely participate in this tour. Safety precautions are taken with all activities.

Do our clothes get dirty often?

Can I bring a mobile phone or a camera with me?

It is not recommended to take a phone or camera on an ATV or rafting adventure because there are possibilities of falling and getting wet. However, waterproof cases or action camera rentals may be possible on some tours. Guides also take pictures and videos of the tour; you can buy them at the end of the tour.
