Alanya Quad Safari & Rafting tour is a great activity for those who love nature and seek adventure. First, a tour is made on forest roads with ATV vehicles. Then, the rafting adventure begins on the river in Köprülü Canyon.

In the ATV safari section, no experience is required as the guides provide ATV driving training. Everyone can use the ATV safely and fun with the guide. In this section, pleasant roads passing through the forest are preferred.

A short training is given by the instructors before the rafting. During the training, the use of the paddle and safety rules are explained in Turkish, English, German, Persian and Russian. The first stage consists of a calm and fun part; in this way, everyone can easily get used to the water and the boat.

A lunch break is given on the river bank during the rafting. Grilled chicken or fish options are served with rice, pasta and salad for dinner. There is also the opportunity to rest or swim in the river during the break.

The second part of the rafting tour is a little faster and more exciting. In this stage, the current is stronger and the beauties of nature are seen together with the canyon views. Birds and small animals can sometimes be observed in the area.

At the end of the tour, photos and videos taken during the rafting can be purchased. Then, you will be dropped off safely and comfortably at your hotels in air-conditioned minibuses. Thus, an exciting day ends.

Hotel Pick-up

We pick you up from your hotel at 08:00 in the morning. We set off towards Köprülü Canyon with our air-conditioned, comfortable service vehicle. Along the way, our guide provides information about the activities to be done throughout the day.

Journey to Köprülü Canyon

During the approximately 2-hour journey, we have a pleasant drive accompanied by forests, mountains and natural beauties. As we move towards a quiet and peaceful nature, our guide shares interesting information about both rafting and the region.

Quad Safari Preparation-Quad Safari Adventure

After reaching the rafting center, we first start preparations for Quad Safari. We give you your helmets and our instructors explain the driving rules. Quad (ATV) motors can be used for two or one person. We take safety precautions and give a short training.

We start Quad Safari on dirt and muddy roads in the forest at 11:00. During this exciting drive that lasts approximately 45 minutes, you have an adrenaline-filled experience in nature. Sometimes we pass through puddles, sometimes we proceed on dusty roads.

Rafting Preparation

After the Quad Safari is over, we start preparing for rafting. You can use the changing cabins, showers and toilets. We give you a life jacket, helmet and paddle. Our instructors explain how to move on the water and rowing techniques.

Rafting Begins

Rafting starts at 12:00. The first track is approximately 8 kilometers long and takes 1 hour. We proceed on the river with a guide. The water is cool and clean, and the surrounding nature is quite impressive. This section offers a great start to get used to the water.

Lunch

After the first stage is completed, we take a lunch break at the restaurant by the river. Chicken or trout, rice or pasta and salad are served on the side. The second plate can be taken free of charge. There is a little rest time after the meal.

Rafting 2nd stage

We move on to the second rafting stage at 14:00. This section is approximately 6 kilometers long and consists of a faster flowing track. Since there are more waves and currents, the excitement increases. The surrounding canyon view increases the pleasure of rafting.

End of Rafting and Return to the Facility

After completing the second stage, we dock our boats to the shore. We return to the rafting center with our service vehicles. Here, we give you a short time to rest, change clothes and get ready.

Watching Photos and Videos

We offer the opportunity to watch the photos and videos taken during the tour on a giant screen. If you wish, you can buy these fun memories as a souvenir. You can drink tea at the facility or relax in the shade.

Return Trip

We start our return trip with our service vehicles at 16:00. Again, we set off on a route intertwined with nature, in a pleasant and comfortable way.

Arrival at Hotels

We reach the hotels between 17:30 and 18:30. After a safe and comfortable day, you return to the hotel.

The minimum age for Quad Safari is generally 14; children under 14 can ride with an adult in the back seat. Children aged 6 and over can participate in the rafting tour; it is not required to know how to swim, but it is mandatory to follow the guide’s instructions. It is recommended that older participants are in good physical health.

What should we take with us and what should we wear when joining the tour?

For Quad Safari, comfortable, dusty clothes and sneakers are recommended. Glasses, bandana and sunscreen should be taken. For the rafting tour, swimsuit, spare clothes, towel, waterproof shoes and sunscreen are required. All equipment (helmet, life jacket etc.) is provided by the organization.

Is there a photo and video shooting service? Can I bring my own camera?

Yes, professional teams shoot with action cameras during the tour. These images can be purchased optionally after the tour. You can also bring your own action camera; however, it is recommended that you use a stabilizer as there is a high risk of falling during Quad Safari. Waterproof equipment is mandatory in rafting.

In which months are the tours organized and which is the most suitable season?

Quad Safari can be organized throughout the year, but the most enjoyable period is between March and November. Rafting tours usually last from April to the end of October. Especially in the summer months, water levels and weather conditions are quite ideal. Early booking is recommended as it is difficult to find a place during the high season.

Are the tours insured and what is taken into consideration in terms of health and safety?

Yes, all tours are legally insured and participants are covered by the tour. In addition, first aid trained personnel, emergency equipment and necessary safety measures are applied on every tour. It is important for participants to notify in advance if they have any health problems.
