After being picked up from your hotel in the morning by air-conditioned minibus, you’ll set off for a fun-filled day. Along the way, your guide will provide information about rafting and share interesting facts about the places you pass. At the end of this 1.5-2.5-hour journey, you’ll arrive in the heart of nature.

The adventure begins with a buggy. You’ll take the wheel on dusty forest roads, rocky, and rugged trails. This ride is both exciting and immersed in nature.

You’ll head towards the mountaintops with a Jeep safari. As you travel in open-air vehicles, you’ll be greeted by towering cliffs, pine forests, and vast landscapes. Occasionally, you’ll stop at special spots where you can take photos.

In the zipline section, you’ll don your safety gear and glide across the river from a height. You’ll feel like a bird as you cross. It’s not scary; on the contrary, it’s a very enjoyable and completely safe experience.

In the rafting section, you’ll first learn about paddleboarding and safety. Then, you’ll have fun as you navigate the river as a team, battling against the currents. If you prefer, you can also experience this adventure in a two-person canoe.

Tour Program

Hotel Pick-up

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Side or Manavgat between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. with our shuttle. Our vehicles are air-conditioned. Once you board, our guide will explain what we’ll be doing throughout the day. The journey takes approximately one hour.

Arrival and Briefing at the Site

Upon arrival at the adventure center, you’ll be greeted by a large open area, café, restrooms, changing rooms, and lockers. Our instructors will explain each activity and the safety rules. Helmets, vests, and other safety equipment will be provided. You’ll have 30 minutes to change and prepare.

Buggy Safari

We’ll begin our buggy safari at 10:00 a.m. You’ll board a small, open vehicle designed for two people. You’ll be shown how to drive before the journey. Our guide will lead, and you’ll follow. The journey takes 45 minutes. You’ll cross forest paths, muddy roads, and small puddles. It’s normal for your clothes to get dirty. Therefore, you should bring a change of clothes.

Jepp Safari

After the buggy safari ends, we transfer to our jeeps. The jeep safari begins at 11:00 AM. You board the large, open-top vehicles. In the jeep, we travel along mountain roads, through villages, and through forested areas. We spend approximately one hour admiring the natural beauty. Occasional water fights will also take place during the jeep ride.

Zipline

At 12:00 PM, we prepare for the zipline. Zipline is an activity where you slide across a high-altitude waterway, secured by a steel cable. Our instructors will help you put on your harness and helmet. The zipline lasts about 10 seconds, but it’s very exciting. You’ll cross the river. Anyone who wants to take photos can let our guide know during this time.

First Part of Rafting

We begin the rafting at 12:30 PM. Before boarding the boats, you’ll be provided with life jackets, helmets, and paddles. Our instructors will explain how to paddle. Each boat accommodates 10 people, and a guide will board the boat with you. The first section is 8 kilometers long and lasts one hour. The water is calmer during this section.

Lunch

We’ll have a lunch break at 1:30 PM. We’ll serve chicken or trout, pasta or bulgur pilaf, and salad. The meal is served hot and fresh. Drinks are available for an additional charge. After lunch, we’ll have a 30-minute rest period by the river. You can rest during this time or re-enter the water.

Second Stage of Rafting

At 2:15 PM, we’ll begin the second rafting section. This stage is 6 kilometers long and lasts approximately 40 minutes. The water flows a little faster and the waves are larger. It’s a more exciting ride. The boat may rock occasionally, but this is completely normal. Your instructor will be with you on the boat.

Rest Break

We’ll complete the rafting at 15:00 PM. After exiting the river, we’ll return to the starting point by shuttle. Here, you can change clothes and shower. Photos and videos taken during the rafting will also be displayed on screens. You can purchase them if you like.

Return to Hotel

We’ll depart for your hotel at 16:00 PM. Travel time varies depending on your accommodation. Returns to hotels in Side and Manavgat are completed between 17:00 PM and 18:00 PM. At the end of the journey, we’ll drop you off at your hotel.

Is the Buggy difficult to control? What is the driving like?

The steering, gas, and brake system are quite simple. Because it has an automatic transmission, it’s easy to drive. The most important thing is to maintain balance on muddy and wet surfaces.

How close to nature is the lunch setting?

It’s usually served in open areas with wooden tables set along the riverbank. Meals are enjoyed in a natural atmosphere, accompanied by the sounds of birdsong and the water.

Is it possible to encounter wildlife along the river?

You may encounter small surprises like fish, various bird species, and occasionally goats that venture into the water.

Where is the tour destination and how far is it?

The tour takes place within Köprülü Canyon National Park. The zipline is approximately 60-70 minutes from Side city center. Transfers are included in the price.

How long and high is the zipline? How is safety ensured?

The zipline is approximately 150-200 meters long and rises approximately 15-20 meters above ground level. Participants are provided with all safety equipment, including helmets and seat belts, and the lines are inspected daily.

What are the age and health requirements for participating in the tour?

Children over 5 are generally allowed. However, for rafting and ziplining, children must be at least 7 years old and have no health issues. It is not recommended for people with heart conditions, asthma, or epilepsy.

What should I wear and what should I bring?

Lightweight, water-resistant clothing, sneakers, or water shoes are recommended. Sunscreen, a change of clothes, a towel, and a waterproof bag are recommended.

When is the best time to join this tour?

It’s available from late April to mid-October. Water activities are more enjoyable in the summer. In spring, the weather is cooler, but nature is more vibrant.

How are hygiene and restroom needs met during a long day spent in nature?

Clean restrooms are available at the main stops and lunch areas. The rafting center also has showers and changing rooms.
