Rafting tour is held in Köprülü Canyon. This is one of the most beautiful nature areas of Antalya. The river is about 14 kilometres long and surrounded by pine forests, high cliffs and views of the Taurus Mountains.

The rafting course consists of two sections: one 8 kilometres and the other 6 kilometres. The first section is a bit calmer and suitable for everyone to get used to. In the second section, the water flows faster but it is safe as there is an instructor in each boat.

Anyone over the age of 10 can participate in this tour. You do not need to have rafted before. Even if you don’t know how to swim, you can easily participate with safe equipment.

There are places along the river where you can enter the water. Sometimes you can even see goats or birds on the shore. You spend a day in touch with nature with the smell of pine trees and canyon view.

During rafting, there is a water fight between the boats, sometimes you can jump into the water and cool off. If you want, you can also go with two-person canoes, but you need to tell this in advance. The instructors guide you and every moment is fun.

At the end of the tour, you return to the facilities and you can watch the photos taken here. You can buy them if you wish. There are also showers, changing cabins and resting areas.

Hotel Pick-up

We’ll pick you up from your hotel early in the morning by minibus at 7:30 AM from Alanya and 9:00 AM from Side and Manavgat. Our vehicles are air-conditioned, and your guide will explain what you’ll be doing throughout the day.

Arrival and Briefing at the Site

At 10:00 AM, we’ll arrive in the forested area of Manavgat, the buggy area. Here, we’ll first explain how to use the vehicles. Then, we’ll explain safety rules and provide you with equipment such as helmets and goggles. After the user training, you’ll take a short test drive.

Buggy Safari

The buggy safari begins at 10:30 AM. You’ll drive for approximately one hour, passing through the forest on dirt roads, small hills, and muddy passes. The two-person buggys will have one driver and one passenger. During this adventure, you’ll encounter plenty of splashes of water and mud, and you’ll have a blast. Once the ride is over, we’ll return to the starting point.

Getting to the Rafting Area

After the buggy tour, we’ll return to Köprülü Canyon by minibus. This journey takes 50 minutes. Once you’re off the buggy, you’ll enter the rafting center. There are changing cabins, restrooms, a market, and a café.

Rafting Information

At the facility, our rafting instructors will explain how rafting is done. They’ll explain safety rules, how to hold the paddle, and how to sit in the boat. The instructors provide explanations in English, German, Russian, and Persian, as well as Turkish. This briefing takes approximately 15 minutes.

Rafting First Stage

Our first rafting leg begins at 12:00 PM. You’ll board your boats and travel along the 8-kilometer river course. This leg takes approximately one hour. Each boat has 10-12 people and a guide. The water is very cold but clear. Along the way, you’ll experience a fun rafting experience, with small waves and currents.

Lunch

After the first leg is over, we dock at the riverside area and take a lunch break at 13:00 PM. The menu includes chicken shish kebab or trout. We serve rice and salad. After dinner, guests can swim in the river or sit in the shade and relax.

Rafting Second Stage

The second rafting leg begins at 14:00 PM. This time, you’ll travel along a 6-kilometer stretch. This section is faster and a bit more exciting. The waves are higher, and the boats rock more. The natural scenery along the way is stunning. The tour ends in 40 minutes.

Rest Break

After the second leg is over, we disembark. We return to the rafting center by minibus. Here, you can change and shower. You can also view and purchase photos and videos taken during the rafting.

Return to Hotel

Our minibuses depart for the return trip at 4:00 PM. We arrive at hotels in Side and Manavgat at 17:00, and at hotels in Alanya at 18:30–19:00, and drop you off at your hotel.
