Pick-up times vary depending on your location, but pickups from Manavgat, Side, and the surrounding area are generally between 8:00 and 9:00 am. Our friendly guide will introduce himself as we pick you up in our comfortable, open-air, air-conditioned jeeps. As soon as you board, we’ll explain what we’ll be doing for the day. Don’t forget to pack comfortable clothes, a towel, slippers, and a waterproof phone case!
We’ll take you to Tazı Canyon on a 45-minute jeep ride. Along the way, we’ll pass through the foothills of the Taurus Mountains; the scenery is so beautiful you’ll want to take photos. Our guide will give you brief but interesting information about the region’s nature, vegetation, and how the canyon was formed. The jeeps travel in convoy, and all vehicles are connected via radio.
Upon arrival at Tazı Canyon, we’ll give you 30-40 minutes of free time. The canyon’s view, viewed from over 400 meters above, is breathtaking. Here, we take plenty of photos. We admire the breathtaking views from observation decks and take short walks.
After leaving the canyon, our one-hour jeep safari begins. This is where the fun begins! We’ll travel along forest roads and dirt paths among pine trees. As we cross water crossings, we’ll cool off with the splash of water. The Jeeps are equipped with water guns, and we’ll engage in small water fights with other vehicles. During this section, we’ll enjoy music and create unforgettable memories surrounded by nature.
Once the safari is complete, we’ll bring you to the rafting area. Here, you’ll disembark and be greeted by our rafting team. The instructors will explain in detail how to proceed during the rafting. You’ll be provided with a helmet, life jacket, and paddle. The facility offers changing rooms, showers, toilets, lockers, and a convenience store. We allow approximately 20 minutes for you to change and store your belongings.
The rafting begins at 12:00 PM. The first leg is 8 kilometers long and lasts one hour. Each boat holds 10-11 people, and our professional instructor leads the way. You paddle, but our guide provides constant guidance. The excitement begins with the sound of the water, the passage between rocks, and the cool waves. This section is calmer, and we can call it the introduction to the currents.
After the first leg, we take you to the riverside restaurant. Here, we serve grilled chicken or trout, along with pasta or rice and salad. You enjoy your meal with a view. If you’re not full, you can purchase another plate. Drinks are available for an additional charge. After lunch, we take a short break. You can cool off in the river or relax in the shade.
At 1:45 PM, the rafting continues with the second stage. This section is 6 kilometers and lasts approximately 45 minutes. This stage is more active. The waves are bigger, the current is faster, and the fun is more intense. There’s no risk of falling into the water, but you do need to hold on tight. Along the way, we observe the natural beauty; you might spot canyon walls, pine trees, and maybe even a goat or a bird.
Once the rafting is over, we’ll take a short drive back to the resort. Here, you can change, shower, and sit comfortably. You can watch the photos and videos taken during the rafting on the large screens. You can purchase them as USBs or printouts.
At 15:30 PM, we’ll board the vehicles again for our return trip. We’ll drop you off at your hotels from the morning pick-up. We’ll be back at our hotels in the Manavgat and Side regions by 17:00 PM.
