    Tasty Lunch Included

On this tour, you’ll step into the heart of nature and experience action-packed moments throughout the day. The adventure begins as soon as you’re picked up from your hotel in the morning. Along the way, you’ll see countless shades of green as you gaze out the window, and the excitement will grip you.

During the Jeep safari, you might get splashed with mud as you traverse the dirt roads in open-air vehicles and get wet crossing small streams. When you arrive at Tazı Canyon, gazing down from the cliff edge will take your breath away. This view will be etched in your memory, not on your phone.

Before the rafting begins, the instructors explain everything step by step. Once you put on your helmet and grab your paddle, you’re part of the river. The moment you step into the water, both the coolness and the excitement begin.

In the first section, the water is calmer, surrounded by pine forests. While paddling, you’ll both enjoy and observe the natural beauty. Every time the boat bounces, a small wave erupts in laughter.

In the second section, the currents become stronger, and the waves rise. Everyone is more cautious, but all smiles are present. Shouting and laughing your way through the boat is one of the most enjoyable moments of this tour.

Watching the photos taken upon returning to the resort is like rewinding a movie. It’s so wonderful to relive those moments. On the way back, you return to your hotel, tired but smiling.

Tour Program

Hotel Pick-up

At 8:00 AM, we pick you up from your hotel in our shuttle. We pick all of our clients from the hotels in and around Manavgat and Side. Our vehicles are air-conditioned to ensure that you have a comfortable journey in the summer heat. Our guide greets you in and explains what you are going to do that day and what to keep an eye out for. You can do some listening to music and have any questions that you may have replied to by your guide during the tour. The tour takes around an hour of time.

Quad Safari

We arrive at the quad safari site around 10:00 AM. There, your small four-wheel scooters await. We have a brief training session beforehand. We don safety equipment such as helmets and goggles. Our instructor demonstrates how to use it. Then we go for a 45-minute safari in the countryside, on rough roads. We use dusty roads, splash small puddles, and have an exciting and partially foggy experience. You can drive yourself if you’re 16 and above, or bring a friend along.

Jeep Safari

After the quad safari is done, we begin our jeep safari at 11:00 AM. We ride open-top jeeps. Every car has a driver. We step out into the natural scenery of the hills surrounding us. During the jeep safari, we travel alongside olive trees and have glimpses of mountain villages. Throughout the journey, our guide explains about the areas we pass through. The jeep ride continues for an hour, with short breaks in between. During these breaks, you can take pictures, enjoy the scene, have water, and rest.

Zipline

We arrive at the zipline site at 12:00 PM. Here, you’ll go on a zipline ride that will take you across the river, attached to a steel cable. The guides will have a helmet and seat belt on. They’ll show you how to stop and brake. Then individually, each person crosses the river. The zipline is roughly 200 meters long. You’ll never forget this short but thrilling experience of flying across the river. Upon the zipline, we have a brief drive to the site of rafting.

Arrival and Briefing

We arrive at the rafting center at 12:30 PM. First, we go to changing rooms where you will dress. Then, you are assigned a life jacket, helmet, and paddle by instructors. Guides explain everything about rafting: how to start, what to do, and how to paddle. Information is provided in English, Turkish, German, and Russian. All equipment is checked. After approximately 30 minutes of preparation, rafting starts.

Rafting First Stage

We board the boats at 13:00 PM and begin the first stage of rafting. There are 8-10 people in each boat, guided by a guide. We will travel around 8 kilometers along the river. Occasionally we encounter rapids, sometimes we move in the slow current. All of us paddle, and we make our way through the water in unison. There are tall canyons, pine trees, and massive boulders in the vicinity. The river is cold but very enjoyable. You will be wet in the rafting, so better bring an extra set of clothes.

Lunch

We have a 2:00 PM lunch break. We eat outside at the restaurant in the resort. Lunch is chicken shish kebab or trout, rice or pasta, and seasonal salad. Drinks are extra, but it’s a decent meal. You can swim in the river or remove your shoes and eat during mealtime. There are tables under cover, so those who do not feel like swimming or removing their shoes can just sit and rest.

Rafting Second Stage

We begin the second stage of rafting at 2:45 PM. The river is livelier in this section. We enjoy more on this around 6-kilometer path. The boats travel faster, the waters get choppy. We battle with water, and all the individuals become more exhilarated. We do not also forget to enjoy the scenery, as the nature over there is wonderful. Birds, trees, stones, and occasionally even goats can be seen on the riverbank. This section lasts around 45 minutes.

Rest Break

The rafting is completed at 15:30 PM. We step out of the boats and go back to the rafting center by minibus. There you can shower and change your clothes. Resting areas are available where you can rest. The rafting photos and video are displayed on a screen. You can purchase these pictures if you want. We also have a tea break.

Return to Hotel

We take you back to Side and Manavgat hotels at 16:00 PM, leaving our vehicles behind. The return journey takes around 1 to 1.5 hours. You will be a little exhausted during the trip but return with sweet memories. We take you back to hotels at or around Side and Manavgat between 17:00 PM and 17:30 PM. You will have fun and nature in the daytime.

FAQ

What routes are followed during a quad safari, and what is the road surface?

A quad safari route generally consists of forest paths, dirt roads, muddy passes, waterholes, and rocky terrain. Participants follow a route intertwined with both action and nature, with natural undulations, small stream crossings, and scenic stops.

Are quad vehicles automatic, and is a driver's license required?

All quad vehicles have automatic transmission and are quite easy to use. A driver’s license is not required for these tours, but it is mandatory to be 17 years or older. For safety reasons, a short user training session is provided before the tour.

What natural and cultural stops are visited during the jeep safari?

During the jeep safari tour, stops are made at highland villages, forest springs, natural observation terraces, traditional stone houses, and areas offering opportunities to briefly chat with the locals. Mini hikes are also organized at some points.

What equipment is provided to tour participants, and should personal equipment be brought?

Mandatory safety equipment such as a helmet, life jacket (for rafting), zipline belt, and gloves (for quads) are provided. It is recommended to bring sneakers, a swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes.

What is the difficulty level of the rafting route, and can non-swimmers participate?

The rafting route is generally grade 2 or 3, suitable for beginners and intermediate swimmers. Non-swimmers can join the boats wearing life jackets and accompanied by a guide. Each boat must have an experienced captain.

Are there any speed limits or driving regulations during the quad safari?

The driving pace is adjusted to prioritize safety, under the guidance of the guide. Speed limits are enforced in certain areas, and it is important to maintain a safe distance from other vehicles. This is not a free-riding experience, but a controlled, guide-led experience.

Is shopping allowed at the stops during the tour?

Some stops feature small stalls selling local products, souvenir stands, or refreshment kiosks. Carrying cash makes shopping easier, as cards may not be accepted everywhere.

Are drones permitted, and do those who want to bring their own drones require a special permit?

Those wishing to fly a drone should contact the tour team in advance. Due to local regulations and safety concerns, flight permits are limited in some areas. Flight plans and safety conditions are taken into account.

Are there a fee for photo and video packages, and what do they include?

Media packages offered after professional shootings are available for a fee. Packages typically include zipline descents, rafting, jeep crossing water splashes, and general group shots. Those who prefer can request a special package that includes only their own footage.

Which activities can and should be avoided by those with chronic conditions?

Zipline, quad, and rafting activities are not recommended for those with special conditions such as asthma, epilepsy, heart disease, or pregnancy. Jeep safaris are a suitable and less strenuous alternative for these individuals. It is important for participants to inform their health conditions in advance.
