On the Side Jeep Safari & Rafting tour, you’ll experience both adventure and nature. You’ll encounter the cool waters of the river and feel the wind on your face on dusty roads in open vehicles. You’ll get wet and have a lot of laughs on this tour.

Forest roads, high peaks, and beautiful mountain views await you. The jeep roads are sometimes very rugged, sometimes passing through villages. There are wonderful places to stop and take photos.

During the rafting portion, the water flows rapidly, but the boats are sturdy, and the instructors are there for you. You’re paddling along, and being in the middle of the river is great fun. Getting a little wet from the splash is the best part.

The guides don’t just explain safety; they also provide information about the surrounding area. You’ll hear interesting things like which mountain you’re crossing and why this river is important. This way, you’ll not only have fun but also gain knowledge.

There are rest stops during the rafting. You can swim or have a water fight at these places. If you prefer, you can simply cool off and relax.

At the end of the day, you’ll be a little tired but very happy. You’ll have seen nature and experienced adventure. You’ll have wonderful memories to tell when you return home.

Tour Program

Hotel Pick-up

We’ll pick you up in front of your hotel by jeep at 8:30 AM. The jeep’s top is open, so you can feel the wind along the way.

Mountain Trip

We’ll head towards the Taurus Mountains by jeep. Along the way, you’ll see trees, hills, and small villages. The jeep sometimes crosses dirt and watery roads, which is a lot of fun.

Village Break

We’ll stop at a small village. Here you can take photos, look around, or walk a bit. This break lasts 20 minutes.

We'll Drive to the Rafting Area

After the break, we’ll re-board the jeep and head towards the rafting area. Along the way, you’ll see lush forests, waterfronts, and high mountains. The scenery is stunning.

We'll Arrive at the Rafting Area

We’ll arrive at the rafting center. The instructors will greet you and explain everything you’ll be doing. You’ll be provided with a helmet, life jacket, and paddle.

Preparation

You’ll be given time to change clothes and pack your belongings. You can shower or get into the river to get used to the water. Our instructors will call you when you’re ready.

First Rafting stage

The first rafting leg begins at 12:00 PM. We enter the river by boat and paddle our way. This leg is 8 kilometers long and takes 1 hour.

Lunch

After the first leg of the rafting, we eat lunch by the river at 13:00 PM. We serve chicken or trout, rice, pasta, and salad. You can also have a second course if you wish.

Rest Break

After lunch, there’s a 30-minute rest period. You can reenter the river or sit in the shade. The surroundings are quiet and the nature is beautiful.

Second Rafting stage

At 14:00 PM, we reboard the boats and begin the second leg of the rafting. This leg is 6 kilometers long. The water is faster and more exciting.

End of Tour

The rafting ends at 15:00 PM. We return to the rafting center by minibus. You can change clothes and view the videos and photos if you like.

Return to Hotels

At 16:00 PM, we board the jeeps and head to your hotel. We arrive at your hotel between 17:00 PM and 17:30 PM and drop you off.

FAQ

What natural and cultural sites do we visit along the Jeep Safari route?

We begin the tour in Manavgat and head towards the Taurus Mountains. The routes include traditional villages, historic aqueducts, ancient waterways, and magnificent forest landscapes. Around noon, we head to Köprülü Canyon for rafting.

Are the Jeeps safe? Are they specially equipped?

Yes, we use modified 4×4 Land Rovers for the tours. They feature anti-skid tires, extra bars for passenger safety, and engine protection systems at water crossings.

Is lunch served during the tour, and what's on the menu?

Yes, lunch is served at a riverside restaurant in the middle of the rafting route. It consists of chicken, pasta, salad, and seasonal fruit.

What is the tour quota? Is there a crowd?

There are limited daily quotas. Planned occupancy is 8-10 people per Jeep and 6-8 people per boat. This is important for both safety and comfort.

Do the guides speak English or other languages?

Yes, the guides can speak English, but also German and Russian. The choice of guide can be specified when booking.

How is transportation from Side to the hotel provided?

At the end of the tour, we return you to your pick-up points (hotels, apartments, etc.) with a jeep convoy.

Can anyone with health problems join the tour?

Participation is not recommended for people with heart conditions, epilepsy, or serious orthopedic problems. It is important to inform the guides about your health condition.

Are the guides trained in emergency response?

Yes, all guides have first aid training, and the vehicles are equipped with a basic first aid kit. Rafting guides also hold lifeguard certification.

Can a private jeep be arranged if we join as a group?

Yes. A private jeep and guide can be arranged for groups of 6-10 people. Special events such as birthdays and bachelorette parties can also be planned this way.

Is it okay to speed in a Jeep Safari?
